This painting was the result of trying to represent summer in one painting. For me, that was trips to a little house on Texas Highway 69. The time was spent wandering and working in a great big garden or relaxing and picking wild blackberries in the back pasture and enjoying the tastiest blackberry cobbler. For me, it’s the taste of Summer!
